Tokai TJM-140 Silverstar is an iconic offset JM model handcrafted in Japan. The TJM-140 features high quality, lightweight alder body with selected maple neck and a rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets. The guitar also has a vintage tremolo bridge made by Tokai in Japan.
This TJM-140 model is equipped with hand wound JM-Vintage MK3 pickups. They give you a bright, punchy 1950s surf tone with that nice, fat sounding low end. The neck model is reverse wound and reverse polarity, to give you hum-canceling when used in combination with the bridge pickup.
This guitar has a high gloss 3-tone sunburst finish.
